Three friends, arriving in about two hours, and the apartment still looks like crap. Clutter all over the front room, the kitchen still needs a load of cleaning, and there's scads of vaccuuming to do.

Also, no roommates in sight.

Yeah, I'm a little ticked off.

Today, in lieu of our normal workout, theonlymegumegu and I cleaned up the apartment. We got the kitchen, dining area and living room cleaned and mostly tidied up (there's a few bits left). Tomorrow I'll tackle the bathroom, which hasn't been done in a while and is starting to get grungy (but it's still not as bad as the last time I cleaned it.) Still, the main living/visiting areas are significantly better and more organized.

I don't believe I've mentioned how awesome a friend Chris is.

Current plan is after the con to go through and take care of the bedrooms. Mine currently isn't bad, just dusty, cluttered, and packed with stuff that should be cleaned out. My bed is too big. There's stuff to eBay, and my computer needs to be moved out.

Still. Excellent first step.
